Youth Wings Of Political Parties Issue One Week Ultimatum To UG

The youth wings of the various parties have given authorities of the University of Ghana a one week ultimatum to rescind its decision banning political activities on its campus.

Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, the NDC Youth Organiser, Ludwig Hlodze, described the decision as disappointing and called on the Ghana Bar Association and Civil Society Organisations to rise up against the ban.

For his part NPP Youth Organiser, Anthony Karbo, described the decision as unacceptable for a University of such stature.

He said the New Patriotic Party will work to ensure that the University lifts the ban.
