Youth asked to desist from political violence

Tarkwa (W/R) Nov.10, GNA- Mr. Joseph Adjei Sowah, the Wassa West District Youth Coordinator, has added his voice to the call on the youth, to comport themselves before, during and after the December 7 polls by not allowing anyone to influence them to engage in acts that could mar the electoral process.

Mr. Sowah was addressing members of the Tarkwa New Layout Youth and Development Association at an all-night prayer session at Tarkwa for peace and understanding among Ghanaians to ensure the success of Election 2004.

He asked the public to refrain from destroying party paraphernalia of political opponents.

Mr. Benjamin Ato Acquah, the Youth Leader of the Association urged Ghanaians to continue to offer prayers for peaceful elections.
