Young Democrats commend President on Bani appointment

The Young Democrats, a pro-NDC youth group, has commended the President John Mahama for appointing Mr Prosper Douglas Kweku Bani as his Chief of Staff.

A statement signed by Mr Atukwei Quaye, the spokesperson for the group, who is also the deputy Greater Accra Regional Secretary for the NDC, said the choice of Mr Bani is a valuable and excellent choice whose wealth of experience in working both at home and abroad, would greatly assist the presidency in directing the affairs of the nation.

It urged the President to remain resolute and focused as he continues in the process of selecting qualified candidates to help govern the country.

The statement also congratulated Ms Hannah Tetteh, Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West in the Central Region, for her nomination to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It said Ms Tetteh has also delivered creditably in other roles and is sure to succeed at her new appointment, where she would project a positive image of the nation abroad.
