You are the treasure of NPP-Sheikh IC Quaye

Accra, June 14, GNA – Sheikh I.C Quaye, Greater Accra Regional Minister on Saturday said the youth were the core treasure of the party and would therefore empower all aspects for them to be better placed to handle activities of the party in the near future.

“The party is yours for taking in the soonest future and that is why you need to galvanize and campaign for its victory to ensure continuity of the good policies of this party”.

Sheikh Quaye was speaking after a health walk organized by Legon, Accra Polytechnic and Zongo friends of Nana Akufo Addo, Flag bearer of the party. The walk was also used to outdoor his new posters. The health walk, which started at the former Accra Kingsway saw enthusiastic supporters dancing to brass band music through the principal streets and finally converged at the Novotel near Ghana Trade Union Congress.

He noted that, Nana Addo was a familiar face at both national and international levels and was therefore the right candidate to ensure continuity of the Kufouur administration, “Nana is familiar to the world having served as a Foreign Minister”.

Sheikh Quaye said the NPP was a party open to all adding, “There is flexibility, humility, respect for all and service to mankind”, and urged all and sundry to support the party in winning the 2008 elections. Mustapha Hamid, spokesman for the NPP flagbearer and Ms. Frema Opare were among other party faithful who joined in the health walk.
