Yendi Municipality awards its farmers

Eighteen farmers and organizations in the Yendi Municipality received awards on Friday for their contributions to the development of agriculture, food security and poverty reduction in the municipality.

The Overall Best Farmer went to Yakubu Osman of Bagbani and he took home a motorbike, cutlass, two poly sacks, one Wellington boot, a radio set one foliar fertilizer and one bag of ammonia.

The Best Rice Farmer went to Dagbanja Mbanti of Dagbanjado and he took home a bicycle, a cutlass, two poly sacks, Wellington boots, a radio set and a foliar fertilizer.

The Best Agro-Forestry Farmer went to Seidu Salifu of Kpaatia and he got a bicycle a cutlass, two poly sacks, Wellington boots a radio set and one foliar fertilizer.

Best Cattle Farmer went to Azindow Njogman of Kulkpen and he took a bicycle, two poly sacks, Wellington boots, a radio set and one foliar fertilizer.

Best Fish Farmer went to Robert Tornigah of Tindang took one knapsack, two cutlasses, one pair Wellington boots and two poly sacks.

Best Poultry Farmer went to Konsi Abdul-Razak of Kulkpanga and took home one knapsacks, two cutlasses, one pair of Wellington boots and two poly sacks.
