Yaw Boateng Gyan warns new ministers

National Organizer of the NDC, Yaw Boateng Gyan, has forewarned all newly appointed ministers to shy away from answering questions posed by NPP MPs to the Speaker of Parliament over issues they are not abreast with; else suffer the harsh repercussions to be packaged by the national executives for them.

According to Yaw Boateng Gyan who spoke on Okay FM, so far as the NPP as a party and its MPs have decided to boycott every national event under President Mahama’s administration, the NDC would also not allow newly appointed ministers to feed them with the vital information they would need to enhance their work.

He charged members in the New Patriotic Party to bow their heads in shame and recognize that their irresponsibility has boxed them in the tight corner they find themselves today.

He also cautioned NPP MPs not to engage ministers of state appointed by President Mahama in any form of communication, since they never took part in the vetting process.

“Take it from me, any minister who dare go to parliament and beam with smiles to answer questions from the minority with an excuse that he has been called by the speaker, the party would deal with him…the party would soon convene a meeting and I will push for that agenda”, Yaw Gyan forewarned.

He took a direct swipe at the NPP MPs who have joined in their party’s call to boycott state events by stating that they are behaving like they don’t know their right from left.

He scolded them for failing to recognize that their status as MPs was enhanced by their constituents who come from different political parties and not necessarily the NPP.

“This very election has taught us that most people voted skirt and blouse. The NPP MPs are failing such individuals and until we have completed the court case, our ministers have nothing to give to them,” he repeated.
