Xmas, Boxing and New Year days declared public holiday

Government has announced that December 25 and 26, 2013, Christmas Day and Boxing Day respectively, as well as January 1, 2014 New Year’s day as statutory public holidays.

A release issued and signed by Mr Kwesi Ahwoi, Minister of The Interior and copied to the Ghana News Agency noted that the days which marked Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year’s days are statutory public holidays and should be observed as such throughout the country.
