WV donates Optometry equipment to KNUST

Fumesua (Ash), Jan. 22, GNA- World Vision Ghana (WVG) on Tuesday presented Optometry equipment worth 44 million cedis to the Optometry Department of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.

Vision Aid Overseas, a British NGO based in England donated the items.

Presenting the equipment, Mr Kwame Adow, Associate Director of the World Vision, Central Sector, said it was the aim of the WVG to impact positively on its principal targets who were children, and underserved rural folks, as well as key partners and collaborators. He pledged that, the organisation would collaborate with the KNUST and students to achieve their goals.

Professor Kwasi Andam, Vice Chancellor of KNUST, who received the items thanked the WVG for the gesture and gave the assurance that, the equipment would be put to good use.
