Wulugu Naaba elected President of National House of Chiefs

Accra, March 5, GNA – The National House of Chiefs has elected Naa Prof. John S. Nabila, Wulugu Naba, as President of the House, to replace Odeneho Gyapong Ababio II, Sewfwi Bekaihene. The House also elected Awulae Attibrukusi III, Lower Aximhene, as vice president to replace Naa Banamini Sandu II, Kaleo Naa, according to a letter signed by Mr S. R. Takyi, Acting Registrar of the House. The statement said the election was held in November last year at the conference hall of the House in Kumasi under the supervision of Mrs Paulina Adobea Dadzawa, member of the Electoral Commission, with the assistance of Mr Kofi Asomaning, Ashanti Regional Director of the Commission.
