WR NPP Women pray for victory

The women’s wing of the Western Regional Branch of the New Patriotic Party, has organized a prayer session aimed to ensure victory at the upcoming general elections.

Mrs Abena Koala, Western Regional Women’s organizer of the party, told the GNA that it was time women rose up and defended the country with prayers since they would be most affected should there be trouble.

The prayer session was based on the biblical verse Esther 9:25, and was used as instrument to avert any evil intention particularly on the upcoming general elections.

Mrs Koala said it was time women rose up and cried to God to ensure peaceful elections due to recent happenings in our neighbouring countries as well as the recent skirmishes during the just ended biometric registration.

The women earlier joined some moslem members to pray while a donation was made by the women’s organizer to the Effia-kuma Mosque to help complete the mosque.**
