Woyome trial resumes today

The Commercial Court in Accra will today resume hearing the case involving businessman Alfred Woyome and the state over the 51 million cedi Judgment debt payment.

Mr. Woyome is facing trial for allegedly defrauding the state for no work done.

Mr. Woyome has in recent times expressed frustrations over the slow manner in which the case is being heard.

It follows the failure of state prosecutors to present some key witnesses.

At the last sitting the court asked the state prosecutors to provide the witnesses to speed up the trial.
