World Servants build teachers quarters for Nangodi Schools

Nangodi (UE), Oct 24, GNA – World Servants, a Holland-based group, in collaboration with the Assemblies of God Relief and Development Services (AGREDS), is constructing a-three unit teachers’ quarters for the Nangodi Primary and Junior High Schools in the Talensi-Nabdam District of the Upper East Region.

The two bodies in 2007 constructed a three-classroom block and urinal, four-seater KVIP, an underground tank and sanitation tools to improve upon sanitation among students. They also established girl-child education club to promote girl-child education and encourage girls to remain in school. The two bodies have envisaged that about 75 girls that would be retained in school would pass the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and gain admission into Senior High Schools (SHS) by 2015.
