Works starts on 1.5 billion-cedis multi-purpose shopping complex

Kumasi, July 9, GNA- The Most Reverend Peter Akwasi Sarpong, Catholic Archbishop of Kumasi, has cut the sod for work to begin on a 1.5 billion-cedis shopping complex at Amakom in Kumasi. The complex has shops, communication centre, library, a printing press, a carpentry showroom and snacks bar. The Amakom Saint Paul’s Parish from its own resources is funding the project. Archbishop Sarpong, said on Wednesday that the church was committed to addressing both the spiritual and material needs of society, and asked the parish to ensure that the project was completed on schedule.
