Work together as a team -MCE urges directors

Kumasi, Sept 10, GNA- Mr Maxwell Kofi Jumah, the Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive, has called on directors of the various departments of the assembly to work together as a team to accelerate the socio-economic development of the metropolis.

Speaking at the closing session of a workshop on Problem Solving Processes in Kumasi on Tuesday, he said the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has good directors but “we are not given the opportunity to exhibit what is in us.”

The two-day workshop was organised by Health Foundation Ghana (HFG) and Dreyfus Health Foundation, both NGOs in the United States in collaboration with the KMA.

They were taken through team building, how to identify and solve problems as well as do effective co-ordination, supervision, effective communication, monitoring and evaluation of various programmes. Mrs Lynda Arthur, Country Director of Health Foundation Ghana, said she hoped the directors will practice what they have learnt
