Wontumi eulogises Kofi Boakye as he assumes new role

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi- Boasiako popularly called ‘Wontumi’ has expressed appreciation to the outing regional Police Commander COP Nathan Kofi Boakye for bringing sanity in the region.

Wontumi thanked COP Boakye for ensuring that the 2016 election was conducted peacefully without any untoward in the region.

He thanked him for his constant arrest of armed robbers and people who engage in nefarious activities.

COP Boakye has been transferred to head Research and Planning at the Ghana Police service in Accra.

The NPP’s regional chairman commended the chief of police for serving the region with humility asking God’s blessings for him as he takes a new role.

Eulogising COP Boakye on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkra, he indicated that the chief of police advised him on several occasions.

‘We pray for God’s guidance for him as he assumes his new role, he has done his best for the region in terms of security, we hope he leaves a good legacy for future generation. We are ready to support him anytime he needs help,’ he said.
