Women’s Fellowship to embark on income-generating projects

Kumasi, March 15, GNA- The Women’s Fellowship of the Kwadaso District of the Presbyterian Church, has planned a three-year training and development programme, designed to help equip members with various vocational skills.

Mrs. Hannah Brenya, out-going President of the Presbyterian Women’s Fellowship of the Kwadaso district who announced this, said the training would cover vocations including soap and pomade making, tie and dye and design of various handicrafts.

Mrs Brenyah said this at a ceremony held at Kwadaso-Nzema in Kumasi on Sunday, as part of activities marking the fifth anniversary of the Women’s Fellowship of the Kwadaso district of the Presbyterian Church.

She said members would be trained in those vocations and assisted to use such skills to establish income generating ventures to help raise income in support of their families, the fellowship and the needy in society.

Mrs Brenyah called for unity amongst members of the fellowship and co-operation with other church fellowships at all times.
