Women Bible Class assist Buruli ulcer patients at Amasaman

Amasaman (G/A), March 31, GNA – The Women Bible Class of the Global Evangelical Church of Ghana has presented food items and used clothing to the Buruli Ulcer Patients Unit at Amasaman Health Centre. The items include rice, cooking oil, canned fish, palm oil and loaves of bread worth over three million cedis.

Presenting the items on behalf of the Church, Madam Peace Agbeshie, an Elder, said the items are the church’s gift to the patients of the health centre to help hasten their healing process of their wounds, particularly the children among them to go back to school. Mrs. Rejoice Bansah, who received the items on behalf of the Director of Health Centre expressed appreciation to church members and Mrs Victoria Norgbey, Ga West Area Development Programme of the World Vision Ghana for initiating the idea.

Mrs. Bansah called on the World Vision International to continue with their assistance and appealed to other churches to emulate the Women Bible Class of the Global Evangelical Church of Ghana.
