A 22-year-old lady [name withheld] is in the grips of the police for allegedly stabbing her fiancee in the ribs.
The suspect according to information gathered carried out her action because the victim had cheated on her with another lady. The two have been reportedly dating for the some time now.
The young man was reported to have visited the lady but the two had a misunderstanding prompting some residents around to intervene.
However, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim, a small scale miner after they were asked to hold their guns. The lady was arrested after he tried escaping from arrest.
The incident occurred at Bawdie a suburb in the Western region.
