Woman slashes son’s hand for stealing GHC30

A 35-year-old mother is in the grips of the police for inflicting deep cutlass wounds on her 12-year-old son.

The suspect, Afia Adutwumwaa, is accusing her son of stealing GHC30 from a loan she just secured on Wednesday, an eyewitness Akosua Yeboah told Starr News.

Reports say the boy who is bleeding profusely has been rushed to a nearby clinic while the mother is currently in custody at the Adesu Police station in the Wassa Amenfi East district of the Western region assisting with investigations.
