A woman believed to be in her thirties was found dead at the car park of the VAT Office at Kokomlemle Thursday.
The identity of the victim is not yet known but residents suspect she was murdered while others link the act to gang rape.
The deceased woman was seen naked with her underwear lowered to the knee level.
Spots of blood detected at the scene suggest she was bleeding.
Some traders who were preparing food at dawn hinted that, they heard an unusual voice around 2am on Thursday. It is not clear what caused the death but the police have taken over the case.
The body has since been deposited at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital morgue by the Homicide Unit of the Ghana Police Service.
