An unemployed lady is in the court of law for allegedly intentionally causing harm to one Sarah Coka.
The accused, Hannah Dadson, is reported to have on August 2, this year, used a blade to make multiple cuts on the face and arms of the victim, a co-tenant.
Before trial judge Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku, the accused denied the charges and was remanded into police custody until August 19, 2016.
Prosecuting, Detective Inspector Kofi Atimbiri told the court that Hannah Dadson and Sarah Coka were not in talking terms.
On August 2, according to the prosecutor, Sarah was washing in the evening and overheard Hannah insulting her. She approached Hannah to find out why she was insulting her.
Detective Inspector Atimbiri said Hannah got furious, entered her room and brought out a razor blade. She pounced on the complainant (Sarah) and inflicted wounds on her face and parts of her arms.
D/Insp. Atimbire said the complainant escaped and lodged a complainant with the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) at the Nungua Police Station.
The complainant, he said, was issued with a medical form to seek medical attention while the police followed up and arrested Hannah.
