Accra (Greater Accra Region) 13 Oct ’98 Rukaya Osumanu, an unemployed woman who attacked and stabbed a neighbour with a broken bottle, has appeared before a circuit tribunal in Accra charged with causing bodily harm.
Rukaya, 22, pleaded not guilty and was admitted to a three million- cedi bail with one surety to be justified. She is to re-appear on Friday, 23 October.
Daniel Ayitey Ayi, 45, a driver who allegedly aided and abetted Rukaya to commit the crime, was not at the tribunal which ordered that a bench warrant be issued for his arrest. GRi
