Woman allegedly pours hot water on granny for ‘retarding her progress’

A 26-year-old hairdresser Nana Ama, a resident of Adusei Nkwanta in the Western region has allegedly poured hot water on her 88 year old grandmother accusing her of being a witch and retarding her progress.

The suspect further accused the grandmother of destroying her marriage and making her barren.

Nyankonton Mu Nsem’s Christopher Anto narrating the incident said, the suspect had a misunderstanding with the victim and in the process, she allegedly poured the hot water on her.

The victim sustained serious burns and currently on admission at the hospital.
