WOFA organises exhibition for Children living with HIV/AIDS

Accra, Feb. 16, GNA- Woyome Foundation for Africa (WOFA) a Non Governmental Organisation on Friday organised an exhibition of arts in order to raise funds to support children living with HIV/AIDS. The exhibition dubbed: ‘Red Expression’, which included paintings of children with HIV/ AIDS, was conducted with the assistance of Glenn Turner and Bernice Ahiable-Addo who are also painters and creators of other artistic works.

Speaking at the ceremony, Pastor Charles Asomaning, Resident Counsellor of WOFA appealed to Ghanaians not to discriminate against persons living with AIDS since sometimes that attitude compelled them to embark on suicide missions. He noted that WOFA aimed at doing all that it could to assist HIV/AIDS and urged all Ghanaians to do the same for them.
