Winners Chapel Ghana celebrates 2nd anniversary

Accra, June 04, GNA – The Winners Chapel Ghana, which separated itself from the Nigerian parent Church on Sunday observed its second anniversary amid waving of miniature national and white flags accompanied by jubilant songs and dancing.

Thousands of congregation members of the Church together with invited ministers of God in the country joined the Church at the Avenor premises to marked the day, which was christened “The Era of Beautification”. Delivering his anniversary message, Bishop George Agyeman, the head of the Church indicated the separation of Winners Chapel Ghana came with

a true heart and a pure conscience, which has manifested in several ways during the past two years.

He said, “Yesterday there was turbulence, there was storm but today there is a great calm. The storm is over and it is the doing of the Lord and it is marvellous in our sight. “We have entered our era of beautification in which everything about Winners Chapel Ghana will be beautiful, colourful and glorious,” Bishop Agyeman assured the congregation.

Nonetheless, he told the Church that it was not yet time for them to rest on their oars as though they have arrived, therefore they should remain steadfast and press on to greater achievements. “Now is the time to rise above the euphoria of past events and let the past be past indeed.

“What lies ahead is far greater and far more glorious than what has gone before therefore let’s us with great determination and unflinching faith in the one who has called us, advance and reach out for them to the glory of His name,” Bishop Agyeman said. He expressed his profound gratitude to all who courageously stood with him to defend the cause of Christ.

The about five-hour service, was graced with song ministrations and praises from prominent gospel artistes. Pupils from the Heritage Academy of the Church presented various inspirational songs and provided choreography shows to make the day a memorable and joyous one.
