Winneba Methodist Men’s Fellowship donates to schools

Winneba (C/R), March 31, GNA – The Winneba Ebenezer Methodist Church Cathedral Men’s Fellowship has presented learning materials worth GH¢100 to Methodist Primary “A” and “B” schools in Winneba. The items comprised, reading books, quantities of assorted pens and drawing materials were presented last Friday. Mr Samuel Boateng, Chairman of the Fellowship who made the presentation, said the items were provided by members of the fellowship based in the United States of America upon a request by some teachers of the two schools.

He said the aim was to augment government’s effort in promoting education in the Winneba area. Mr Boateng urged the pupils to focus on their studies because it was only through that they could successfully pass their examinations and become useful citizens in future. Madam Monica Mensah and Madam Grace Amankwah, the two headmistresses of the schools who jointly received the items thanked the donors for their kind gesture and pledged to use the items to benefit the pupils.
