Winneba Government Hospital records 22 births at Easter

Winneba (C/R), April 24, GNA – Twenty-two babies were born at the Winneba Government Hospital during the Easter festivities, a Midwife Officer at the Maternity Ward of the hospital has said. Mrs Esther Bonney told the Ghana News Agency in an interview on Sunday that the babies included nine males and 13 females. She said four males and four females were born on Good Friday while two males and six females were delivered on Holy Saturday. Mrs Bonney said three males and three females were delivered on Easter Sunday before 0930 hours. She said all the babies and their mothers were in good condition and had since been discharged.
