Wilfred Ndidi Joins Beşiktaş on Three-Year Deal from Leicester City

Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has completed a move to Turkish giants Beşiktaş, signing a three-year contract with the option to extend his stay until 2029.

The 27-year-old leaves Leicester City after eight seasons, during which he became one of the Premier League’s most consistent defensive midfielders and played a pivotal role in the Foxes’ 2016/17 campaign that followed their historic title win.

Ndidi’s switch marks a new chapter in his career as he joins one of Turkey’s most decorated clubs, with Beşiktaş fans already hailing his arrival as a statement of intent ahead of the new season.

Beşiktaş are banking on Ndidi’s experience, leadership and ball-winning ability to strengthen their midfield as they aim to challenge for the Süper Lig title and make an impact in European competitions.

Ndidi expressed his excitement over the move, saying he was eager to “give everything” for his new club and its passionate supporters.

The transfer also signals the end of an era for Leicester, who will be without one of their most reliable performers as they prepare to be back in the Premier League.
