We’ll sack Cephas Arthur and Kudalor: They are NDC moles – Sir John

Former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has disclosed that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Head of the Public Affairs Directorate of the Ghana Police Service would be dismissed for their involvement in active politics.

According to Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, the two have demonstrated that have been working for the National democratic Congress (NDC) and “therefore must go”.

“We will get rid of Supt. Cephas Arthur who is the Police PRO and the IGP will be shown the exit because they have been acting in the interest of the NDC”.

“…As for that PRO, the least said about him the better. Is he not the one who has been snitching on Kwesi Ofori? We will see,” he said on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma.

Supt. Cephas Arthur seems to be in the bad books of the NPP and this manifested when he alleged that guards at President Akufo-Addo’s private residence threatened the life of a police personnel.

In the words of Supt. Arthur, a bodyguard of the then flagbearer of the NPP pointed a gun at a police officer during the melee that ensued in front of Nana Akufo-Addo’s house in the heat of the campaigns leading up to election 2016.

Even though many leading members of the NPP condemned the Police Spokesperson none suggested he was working for the NDC but Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie claims he has always been “unprofessional” in the discharge of his duties and “must go”.
