We’ll energise entrepreneurial spirit in every Ghanaian – Finance Minister

The Nana Addo-led government would want to energise the entrepreneurial spirit within every Ghanaian to help them earn a decent living and improve their lives, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has said.

According to him, government has managed to fix the economic challenges that were bedeviling the country; hence the unemployed will be introduced in entrepreneurial skills.

Presenting the 2018 budget statement in parliament, the Finance Minister noted that – “For us, the fight against poverty and unemployment is not optional; it’s a national security issue. It is time for Ghanaians to arise and build.”

“Thankfully President Akufo-Addo came into office with a positive mindset and inspired all of us to see the invisible, feel the intangible and achieve the impossible.”

“I am happy to note that we have turned the economy around and our policies are yielding results and restoring hope and bringing relief to Ghanaians,” he said.
