Accra, June 16, GNA – Sheriff Nii Otto Dodoo, Municipal Chief Execut ive of Ga South, on Wednesday directed the Police to identify, arrest and prosecute the culprits who attacked his office and assaulted personnel of
the assembly on Tuesday June 15. A statement issued in Accra by Mr C.N. Marbell, Municipal Co-ordinating Director and Secretary to the Municipal Security Council cautioned all individuals and groups in the municipality who had any grievances to direct them through the appropriate channels for redress. The Council directed the security agencies to ensure that steps are taken to prevent future recurrence of such unwarranted attacks on public institutions in the municipality. “The attacks on Sheriff Dodoo and manhandling of members of staff, resulting in injuries were particularly unfortunate and totally uncalled for,” it added.
