The coastal belt will be cloudy with mist and fog – Meteo
Accra, Aug. 27, GNA – The Department of Meteorological Services, on Wednesday said the coastal belt will be cloudy with widespread mist or fog early this morning. The afternoon will be sunny with light rain or drizzle over few stations. The forest and hilly areas will equally be misty or foggy this morning becoming variably cloudy with rain showers or thunderstorms over high grounds this afternoon or tonight. Northern Ghana will be cloudy with few stations experiencing rain showers this afternoon. However, the night will be unstable with several stations experiencing thunderstorms or rain showers especially over the upper regions.
Minimum and Maximum temperatures in degree Celsius between 0600 hours on Wednesday and 0600 hours on Thursday were given as; coastal areas, between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius, forest and mountainous areas; between 21 and 29 and Northern Ghana; between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius. 27 Aug. 03
