We have the men to make Ghana better – Kufuor

Former President, John Agyekum Kufour has urged Ghanaians to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because they have the men to make Ghana a better to place to live once again.

He told thousands of party supporters and sympathizers that stormed the Trade Fair Center in Accra on Sunday to lend their support to the party’s 2016 Manifesto launch that they could always count on the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition because their footprints in managing the Ghanaian economy is there for all to see.

“In 2001, you voted for us. Our opponents doubted us. They even challenged us where we were going to get money to run the country for the next three months. But before they realized, we had changed the phase of Ghana.”

“We are now facing economic challenges. If you give Akufo-Addo the chance to govern the country, we have the team to turn things around. We have the personnel to change the wahala that we are going through. If you give us the opportunity, we will do it”, he noted to the applause of the gathering.

He further told the mammoth crowd that the NPP will work with the private sector to bring in lots of investment to help turn things around.

“Just give way for the NPP to come to power and the country will make a lot of progress and there will be wealth for all of us to enjoy. We need pragmatism and solutions. Akufo Addo possesses all these traits and so I am urging you all to vote for him. I am convinced that the crowd that I am seeing over here will be a blessing for the NPP.”
