We have proof Adelarquaye financed NDC – NPP

The main opposition New Patriotic Party, NPP, says it has incontrovertible proof that Solomon Adelarquaye, the busted Head of the Security Company manning the Kotoka International Airport, is a major financier of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The Sohin Security boss was arrested last week in the US for drug trafficking. The allegation of his connection with the governing NDC was first made by opposition MP for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong.

Now the NPP’s General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has come out to categorically state that the party can prove Mr. Adelarquaye’s sponsorship of the NDC.

“…Indeed we have it on proper authority that he is one of the financiers of the NDC,” he told XYZ News on Sunday, June 9, 2013.

Mr. Owusu Afriyie alleged that: “…It is precisely for this reason that this job was awarded to him in spite of the fact that he had no track record in security matters”.
