We can’t afford to lose 2016 elections – Dan Botwe

The Minority Chief Whip in Parliament, Dan Kweku Botwe, says maintaining the NPP’s current 123 seats is necessary if they are to win the 2016 elections.

The party, he said, cannot afford to lose any of these seats if they are to wrestle power from the NDC in 2016.

In an interaction with Fiifi Banson on Kasapa 102.3 FM, the Okere legislator indicated that it was imperative those old seats were maintained “so they can pull along the orphan constituencies” in the general elections.

Botwe argued that the large pool of parliamentary knowledge the minority wielded was crucial to the general Party and national debate.

“We don’t want to be bullied by the other side with their numbers…….we need strong quality people; it helps to move your debate also forward.”
