We Are Not Training An Elite Army – Yaache

Army Commander, Major General Clayton Yaache has denied that an elite army and a new 64th Battalion popularly known as ‘Commandos’ are undergoing military training. Reacting to a publication in a private newspaper which sought to suggest that a special unit of the army is undergoing training to take over from the previous regiment, Major General Yaache explained that training of some military personnel currently underway at the Shai Hills is a routine practice to improve the battle readiness of the Ghana Armed Forces.
