WATER DELEGATION

A government delegation led by the Minister of Works and Housing, Mr.. Isaac Adjei Mensah has returned home after a working visit to Cote D’Ivoire, Senegal, Guinea and the Gambia. During the two week visit, they undertook a study of the style of private sector participation in water delivery system in the host countries. Mr.. Adjei-Mensah told newsmen at Kotoka International Airport that his Ministry will educate the people and reshape their thinking on how to promote private sector participation in the water delivery system in the country. The delegation was made up of MP’s officials of the Ministry of works and Housing, the advisory Committee of Water Sector Restructuring Management and representatives from the GWSC and the TUC. Mr. Adjei Mensah was confident that the private sector participation in water delivery in Ghana would be very efficient based on a clearly defined programme of action.
