Watchman defiles two kids.

Techiman (B/A), April 9, GNA – The Techiman Circuit Tribunal, chaired by Mr Justice Nicholas Abodakpi, has remanded a 29-year-old watchman of Wenchi New Market in the Brong Ahafo Region, to re-appear on April 11 for defiling two girls aged 10 and 11.

Thomas Ayidema pleaded not guilty to the charge. Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Augustine A. Darko said on September nine, last year, the accused took advantage of the absence of the victims’ parents, lured them into an uncompleted building at his workplace and locked them up.

Ayidema then had sex with the girls in turns after which he gave them 1,000 cedis to share, the prosecutor added. The victims reported their ordeal to Madam Afua Adjeiwaah, a trader, who informed Wenchi police.

The prosecutor said when the victims were later examined at the Wenchi Methodist Hospital, it was detected that they had been carnally known.
