Mampong (Ash), Jan. 26, GNA- Amaniampong ‘Kroye Kuo’, comprising citizens of Asante-Mampong based in Washington DC, on Friday presented 2.5 million cedis to the Asante-Mampong Babies Home.
Mr Kingsley Addai, popularly called “Wofa Addai”, President of the association and Mr Thomas Edward Atakorah, the Sekyere West District Chief Executive, jointly presented the money to the Home.
Mr Addai said the gesture was the humble contributions of the association towards the upkeep of the babies and pledged the association’s continuous assistance to the Home.
Madam Grace Lamptey, Supervisor of the Home, who received the money, thanked the association for its magnanimity and pledged that the money would be used to cater for the babies.
