Wamfie Rural Bank PLC recently held its 43rd Annual General Meeting in Wamfie, the capital of the Dormaa East District in the Bono Region.
The bank’s performance for the 2023-2024 banking year was noteworthy, with a 54% growth in profits. Although share growth was modest at 0.6%, the bank is encouraging businesspeople to invest in its shares.
Shareholders received a profit of 0.0021 per a (GHC 100) share for the 2023-2024 banking year.
Corporate Social Responsibility The bank’s immediate past Board Chairman, Mr. Dominic Kwasi Nti, emphasized the bank’s commitment to undertaking Cooperate Social Responsibility initiatives in communities where it has branches, benefiting families and the public.
Mr Dominic Kwasi Nti the immediate past board chairman and lecturer at Berekum college of Education also added his voice on ranking of Wamfie Rural Bank PLC ranked 20th out of 123 rural banks in Ghana and second in the Bono Region from current ratings from Bank of Ghana.
