Winneba, July 28, GNA – The Effutu Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Mike Hammah, has presented relief items worth 5,000.00 Ghana cedis to support the Walababa flood victims.

The items include five bags of rice, Ploy mates, 9 Bags of Corn, 4 bags of Beans and 4 bails of used cloths.

He advised the people not to build on water ways to avoid disaster during heavy downpour.

Receiving the items on behalf of the people Neenyi Obombah II, Odikro of the town, thanked the donors and appealed to non-governmental organisations and philanthropists to come to their aid.
