WAEC makes Dadieso Senior Secondary School Examination Centre

Dadieso (W/R) July 21 GNA – Mr Ashford Adams, Headmaster of Dadieso Senior Secondary School in the Western Region has expressed the school’s appreciation to the West African Examination Council (WAEC) for making the school an examination centre. He said this had alleviated the major problem of conveying candidates to Juaboso, a distance of more than 45 kilometres to write the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSSCE) every year, particularly when the School had no means of transportation. Mr Adams said this at a staff meeting to discuss the conduct of the SSSCE and problems facing officials as well as candidates of the examination.

He noted that the arrangement under which examination papers had to be collected from Juaboso daily was not the best because of the distance involved, the bad nature of roads in the area and high cost of travelling.

He, therefore, appealed to WAEC to establish a depot at Dadieso where papers for future examinations could be kept. Mr Adams appealed to the Ministry of Education and Sports to provide the School with a vehicle.
