Voting Regions – Ho

Voting in the Ketu North got off to an orderly start and Mr Ebenezer Kwame Atieku, District Election officer, told the GNA that adequate materials had been supplied to the 79 polling stations on time. Fairly long queues were formed at six polling stations visited by the dzodze and Awlikope also near Dzodze where the Volta Regional Minister, Mr Kofi Dzamesi, NPP parliamentary candidate voted.

Party agents were represented at all the polling stations. Mr Geoffrey Barko, Assistant Superintendent of Police in charge of the Dzodze Police District, said the security situation was under control. He said the few reported election related incidents that occurred a few days to the elections were being investigated.
