Voting – Hohoe

At Hohoe, voting has been smooth in the Hohoe Municipality where long queues had formed by 0500 hours.

At the Saint Francis Demonstration JSS Polling Station where 153 out of 847 registered voters had cast their votes by 0920 hours, Mr Emmanuel Kigbadzor, Presiding Officer commended the comportment of voters and expressed the hope the peaceful atmosphere would prevail throughout the period of voting.

At the Saint Teresa’s Training College Demonstration JSS polling station at Bla electoral area in the Hohoe-North constituency, Mr Kennedy Mortiglo, the Presiding Officer, said voting started at 0715 hours due to late arrival of voting materials. At the time the of the GNA’s visit at 1000 hours 250 out of 1,333 voters had voted.

Agents of the NDC, NPP, PNC, DFP and CPP were present at all the polling stations visited and police personnel were also present.
