Voting at Dome-Kwabenya Constituency is smooth

Accra, Aug. 7, GNA – Voting at the Atomic Energy School at Dome-Kwabenya Constituency to elect a flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), began smoothly with the arrival of voting materials on time.

Kwabenya District Police Commander, DSP Ameyaw Afriyie told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that there had been absolute comportment as far as police regulations on the voting process was concerned.

He said there “.no recalcitrant or any problems arising from the names in the register or any other challenge”.

DSP Afriyie said 330 delegates were expected to cast their ballots but at 0930 hours 156 had voted.
