Voters in the Brong Ahafo Region turn out massively to check their names

Sunyani Oct, 14, GNA- Mr Amadu Sulley, the Brong Ahafo Regional Director of the Electoral Commission, on Thursday commended registered voters in the region for turning out massively at the registration centers to check their names.

He said about 40 percent of voters had checked their names at almost all the places he visited this morning.

In an interview with the GNA, Mr Sulley said some registered voters had their names missing from the register.

He said at Akwaboa Primary “B” center at Min in the Asunafo North District the photograph of one lady ran through the whole register. Mr Sulley appealed to those who have not found their names and photographs in the register to be patient since efforts are been made to rectify the situation.
