Founder and Presidential Candidate of the All People’s Congress Dr. Hassan Ayariga has been campaigning for President John Mahama in the Northern regional capital ahead of the December polls.
Dr. Ayariga was mobbed by a large crowd of APC enthusiasts Wednesday afternoon upon arrival at the Tamale airport. He urged the people to vote President Mahama as the preferred Presidential aspirant in this year’s elections.
The APC Flagbearer declared his full support for the NDC Flagbearer, President Mahama at a press conference held in Accra on Monday.
Prior to that, Dr. Ayariga suspended two of his executives, Razak Kojo Opoku together with the vice presidential candidate Carl Bartels following their endorsement of the opposition NPP’s Flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo. According to him, their endorsement of Akufo-Addo was an act of gross insubordination and flouting of the party’s constitution.
The APC Flagbearer is currently on a campaign tour for the NDC Flagbearer, in the Northern regional capital, Tamale.
