Mr Henry Ford Kamel, Volta Regional Minister has assured the people of Adaklu Traditional Area of government’s determination to raise the standard of living of the people.
He gave the promise when Togbega Gbogbi Atsa V; Paramount Chief led a retinue of chiefs and elders from the area to pay a courtesy call on him.
Mr Kamel said the creation of new districts, such as Adaklu was to facilitate the development of the area.
He hinted that he would be touring the region to interact with various groups, share ideas and collate problems that needed to be solved.
Togbe Atsa expressed gratitude to the government for raising Adaklu to the status of a district.
He urged the Minister who assumed office recently to seek counsel from the chiefs as they had a lot to offer to promote the development of the region. **
