Volta Regional Hospital gets medical equipment

The Affum-Darkwah Mission International (TADMI) has presented medical equipment valued at 50,000 dollars to the Volta Regional Hospital.

The equipment includes surgical tools, wound dressing pads, emergency beds, dialysis tubes and catheter sets.

The presentation followed appeals by Asogli Chiefs, through Nana Ofei Asamani I, the Nkosuohene of Akwamu Traditional Area.

Mr Daniel Affum-Darkwah, the Founder of TADMI, who presented the equipment, said the initiative was to help the Hospital to offer good healthcare services to the needy.

Dr. John Tampouri, the Medical Director of the Hospital, said the facility was “happy and lucky to be in the minds of the chiefs and other benefactors.”

He gave the assurance that the equipment would be put to good use.

Togbe Adzie Lakle Howusu XII, the Chief of Ho-Dome, appealed to TADMI for more support for health facilities across the region.
