Volta Cadres pledge support for President Mills

The Volta Regional Branch of the United Cadre Front of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Friday pledged its support for President John Atta Mills led NDC in pursuance of it “Better Ghana” agenda. This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Samuel Adablah and Mr Seth Adevu, acting Regional Secretary and acting Regional Coordinator respectively, to mark the 29th Anniversary of the putsch that toppled late President Hilla Limann’s administration.

“Never again should they (Ghanaians allow a few privileged ones in our society to take the country for a ride by enriching themselves at the expense of society.” The statement also lauded the ability of that Revolution to “push the country into a level of political maturity next to none in the sub- region.”
